Veet Easy Wax Electrical Roll-on kit

Veet

I’ve got a confession to make. When it comes to waxing, I’d rather do it in a salon than deal with all the mess at home. But in a bid to save some time and money, I thought I’d give Veet Easy Wax Electrical Roll-on kit a try in time for putting on my bikini.

Apparently, the wax that is made from the same ingredients as used in salons so there’s really no reason it won’t be just as effective, asuming you have limited skills as a beauty therapist and let’s face it, it can’t be THAT difficult.

The kit includes the electrical roll-on device that you plug it to heat the wax, stripes and wipes to get rid of left-ver wax.

I have to say that it was very easy to use and I followed the instructions here:

1. Plug it in for about 20 minutes (though I found 30 was better)

2. Roll on the wax on skin that you have previously exfoliated

3. Roll on in the direction of the hair-growth

4. Place a strip well on the area and hold the skin tight and remove it immediately against the direction of hair growth

5. Repeat and… hey presto! Smooth skin.

I’m delighted to report it was actually quite pain-free. I tried it on my legs and found it was a little painful on the fine hairs on the thighs. Speed is the key – to rip off the stripes quickly like a bandage whilst thinking of something else but the pain!

The wax worked well even on the smallest hairs (as short as 2mm). My skin felt really smooth afterwards, just like after a visit to the salon. I liked the texture and the sexy colour of the pink wax and the fact the roll-on guaranteed a mess-free use. my only critisism were the wipes, which didn’t remove as much residue as I felt they should have done.
